We recommend wintering in our 1680m2 hall which provides the best protection from from sun, rain, wind and freeze. Wintering in the hall is also recommended, if works are planned on the exterior. - 30 BERTHS (approximately) - MAXIMUM LENGTH 42m - FULL VIDEO SUPERVISION COVERAGE - BATTERY CHARGING INCLUDEDPreparation Works for Winter– Ask NAVAR to clean the underwater part of your yacht, and to clean propellers, drives, rudders and flaps from fouling and shells. – Ask NAVAR to flush sea circuits of cooling systems with fresh water and empty them completely (or fill with antifreeze). – Fill the fuel tank as practicable before leaving. It will prevent seaweed formation in the tank as there will be less air. – Empty completely all water tanks by fresh water pump, clean them and leave with partial ventilation if possible. – Open freshwater taps in the galley and heads and unscrew shower handle in the cockpit. Temperatures sometimes fall up to -10 in Tivat! – Remove and storage canvas, fenders, ropes in the yacht compartments to prevent age. – Remove and store sails in the boat or in special storage. Even rolled, sails age from the sun. – Ask NAVAR to service your engines, outboards and generators. It is better for engines and drives to stay filled with new oil during winter. – Wash your inflatable tender with fresh water and ask NAVAR to store it in a covered place. Leave it slightly deflated. – Empty black water tanks before coming to NAVAR and flush toilets with fresh water before leaving. – Clean the fridge and leave partially open for ventilation. – Remove all food from the yacht. Worms developed into flour or rice can start to eat wooden shelves in the galley. (checked!) – Remove all batteries from torches and electronic devices and leave them apart. – Secure awnings and covers carefully. Close the yacht and leave the key in the marina office. – It is necessary for the owners to roughly say in advance when they want their yachts in the water again. Preparing Yacht for the Season – Ask NAVAR to renew antifouling coating and replace bad zinc protectors. – Service engines if they are not serviced after season. Check oil and cooling fluid levels. – Check water tanks’ state and fill them. Close all taps, screw showers back and check the fresh water pump. – Check safety equipment, windlass. – Put the flag on and make vignette if your registration is not Montenegrin. Check boat insurance and Skippers permission. – Check with NAVAR management if all services are already paid. REQUEST AN OFFER
